CEW65M-01983: A pull-wire displacement transducer model with a 20-meter stroke

I received an inquiry yesterday from aCable Displacement Sensors. Model No. CEW65M-01983, a 20 meter pulling stroke.

This encoder is not complicated, it is a 4096*4096 resolution encoder with profibus-dp communication protocol and 6mm shaft diameter. as aCable Displacement SensorsThe application dimensions of the encoder section are not particularly important, as long as they can be matched to the wire pulling mechanism.

And so, we have more room for customization alternatives.

The main basis for matching alternatives is our wire pulling traction mechanism. This is a 20 meter stroke pulling mechanism, model SL3020-X1/GS130.

As it happens, we have a 1:1 counterpart size for our wire pulling traction mechanism, just in addressing the encoder part. The prototype model used a 65mm series encoder, and we're using a 58mm OD encoder here, which will also match the pulling mechanism. As long as the cable pulling mechanism can be mounted to match, it will be fine.

In this way, we have perfectly replaced this pull-wire displacement sensor. In the future, there will be no need to worry about the procurement of spare parts.

In fact, encoders with profibus-dp communication protocol basically have a high demand for spare parts in the market. Many are discontinued models for which spare parts cannot be bought. The highest number of inquiries of this type is received.

Generally, we will give the customization of developing alternative solutions. Although the quantity is small, we will take time to do it for the sake of our customers' normal application. As long as we are not particularly difficult case, as far as possible will help people customize some non-standard size.
