This encoder model 8.9080.3131.3001, a product of Kübler, has been discontinued. However, many customers still require spare parts for this encoder and are unable to find them.
The encoder model 8.9080.3131.3001 is a Profibus-DP communication protocol device with a resolution of 1213 for multi-turn absolute encoders. It is unclear why the official production was discontinued.
The customized replacement for this Kübler encoder seems to have been developed last year or even earlier. I recall it was developed for a company as a replacement for spare parts, and after refining the processing data, a product with the same parameters was custom-made.
